About
Itinerant Pictures is a documentary film production company founded by filmmaker and photographer Daniel Traub.

Traub has directed documentaries including the Barefoot Artist about Lily Yeh and her collaborative artworks in marginalized communities; Xu Bing: Phoenix, which highlights the condition of Chinese migrant laborers; and, most recently, Into Her Own, which delves into the life and work of the New York-based artist Ursula von Rydingsvard.

His films have been shown at venues including Vancouver International Film Festival, Film Forum in NYC, Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago, The National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, MASS MoCA, and many others. They have been reviewed by publications including The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post and Variety.

Additionally, Traub has over two decades experience as a documentary cinematographer on independent as well as network productions and series.
